What's On
Adelaide

With the promise of great weather and some of the world’s best events and festivals, no wonder so many people make it a ritual to visit Adelaide around March every year.

Adelaide is one of the world’s most liveable cities and home to some of the world’s best wine, but what a lot of people don’t realise is we also do world class events and festivals incredibly well.

Although we have some amazing events in January and February, including the cycling spectacular of the Santos Tour Down Under and the World Tennis Challenge, one of the best times to be in Adelaide is March. There is always something happening and the weather at this time of the year is stunning.

Deciding what to see in Adelaide during March is challenging for some as there is such a variety of things to see and do, locals and visitors alike have trouble deciding how to spend their hard earned cash.

March in Adelaide is crammed with all kinds of events and festivals featuring everything from music, comedy and film, to V8 supercars and horse racing.

Not that Adelaide doesn't have any other events throughout the year, it's just that March seems to be more crowded than the others. It's no wonder the locals call it Mad March.
